ACI Foundation Fellowships Scholarship 2024

The ACI Foundation Scholarship for the 2024-2025 academic year is a fully funded scholarship available to international students. This scholarship supports undergraduate, master’s, PhD, and postdoctoral studies. Recipients of this scholarship will receive a US educational stipend ranging from $10,000 to $15,000 to cover tuition, residence, books, and materials.

Scholarship Coverage Recipients of the ACI Foundation Scholarship / Fellowships will receive the following benefits:

Eligibility Criteria for ACI Foundation Scholarship To be eligible for the ACI Foundation Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Required Language: English. If English is not your native language, you must attach a written statement to the application confirming your proficiency.
Eligible Countries: Open to students from all countries. ACI Foundation Fellowships are available worldwide, but some may require you to attend a university in the Gulf Cooperation Council region (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates) during the award year. ACI Foundation fellowships can be awarded to international students, but you must attend a U.S. or Canadian institution during the award cycle.
Some fellowships may require the awardee to complete a 10- to 12-week internship during the summer of 2024.
Finalists for an ACI Foundation fellowship will be notified by February 4, 2024, and must be available to attend an interview with the Scholarship Council on Sunday, March 27, 2024, at the spring ACI Concrete Convention. ACI Foundation will cover flight, hotel, registration, and provide a travel stipend.
Proficiency in the English language is required for all applicants. You can optionally upload a copy of your TOEFL score to your application if English is not your native language.
The educational stipend is paid in two equal installments over one year directly to the student to cover expenses related to tuition, room and board, books, student fees, etc. Stipends are provided on the condition that the recipient attends scheduled ACI Concrete Conventions during the award cycle.
Fellowship awardees are expected to submit a written report toward the end of their fellowship period, describing the value of the fellowship to their personal development and their preparation for their chosen career after graduation.
