Radboud University Fully Funded Scholarship Programme for 2024/2025

The Radboud Scholarship Programme provides an opportunity for a selected group of talented prospective non-EEA students to receive a scholarship, allowing them to pursue a full English-taught Master’s degree program at Radboud University.

Level/Field(s) of study: English-taught Master’s Degree Programme (with the exception of Erasmus Mundus Master’s programs and joint-degree Master’s programs).

Number of Scholarships: For the 2024/2025 academic year, a maximum of 28 Radboud Scholarships are available in various faculties: Faculty of Arts (2), Faculty of Law (5), Nijmegen School of Management (4), Faculty of Philosophy, Theology and Religious Studies (2), Faculty of Science (11), and Faculty of Social Sciences (4).

Target group: Non-EU/EEA International Students

Scholarship value/inclusions/duration: The partial scholarship will reduce your tuition fee to €2,530. For example, a grant recipient for the 2024/2025 academic year will only pay a tuition fee of €2,530, instead of €17,000.

The scholarship also covers costs such as those for visa, residence permit, health insurance, and liability insurance for your stay in the Netherlands.

If you are selected as a scholarship recipient and are admitted to a two-year Master’s program, to qualify for the grant again in the second year, you need to have passed all courses in the first year.

Eligibility: To be eligible for a Radboud Scholarship, you must:

  • Hold a non-EU/EEA passport.
  • Not be eligible for the lower EEA tuition fee for other reasons.
  • Have (or will obtain) a Bachelor’s degree achieved outside the Netherlands, have no degrees achieved in the Netherlands, and did not receive any previous education in the Netherlands.
  • Have been fully admitted to the English-taught Master’s degree program starting on 1 September 2024, as stated in the formal letter of admission.
  • Be able to comply with the conditions for obtaining a visa for the Netherlands.
  • Be enrolled at Radboud University as a full-time student for the academic year and Master’s degree program for which the scholarship will be awarded.

Application instructions: You can apply for the Radboud Scholarship by indicating during your application for admission to a Master’s program in the OSIRIS Application system that you wish to apply for a Radboud Scholarship. You will then be required to upload three additional documents: two reference letters and a curriculum vitae. Your application must be completed before 31 January 2024, 23:59 CEST.
